The Open MTB Trails project is all about building a community-driven, free, and open mountain biking trail database. Our goal is simple: to make trail information accessible to everyone, without paywalls, premium memberships, or complicated sign-ups.
No accounts. No hoops. Just open access to trails shared by riders, for riders. The more the community contributes, the better it becomes for all of us. Whether it’s uploading trail data, sharing feedback, or helping shape the project, this is a platform created by the community, for the community.
We're in the early stages and are looking for beta testers, trail mappers, and creative folks who can help design graphics and artwork for future merch.
To keep the site sustainable long term, revenue will come from voluntary support through donations, merchandise, and Patreon. Other ideas may include event sponsorships, or partnerships with local bike shops and riding groups that align with our mission of keeping access free for riders everywhere.
